That is the first water birth experience for me, exciting and what a wonderful experience it must of have been for you all to be at your home in your tub and right in your bed, with daddy, daughter & new baby boy and of course the Doc & nurse right by your side, that is so awesome!

  Waterbirth, whether in a hospital, birth house, or at home, is wonderful! I’ve had one baby born “on land” and one in the water, and I can safely say that a pool of water made all the difference in my comfort.
  
  This mama in the pictures is a sweet friend of mine- her first birth- and she did an incredible job!

  Yes, it was a really special thing to be asked to return the favor. Bringing a breast pump along with my camera equipment for my “other job”- Elliott’s birth was very much on my mind and it was so neat to watch Rachel labor with a power she wasn’t sure she had in her a few months before. xoxo
